Actress Cum Politician Nusrat Jahan Will Be Doing Two Films In A Year; Read Details
The actress last release Asur with Jeet and Abir Chatterjee has received a mixed response at the box office. She has now signed her second film in which Nusrat will be again paired opposite Abir.
Nusrat Jahan who is an actress and politician now is juggling between the two and she is managing very successfully. As the actress starts preparation for her second film titled ‘Dictionary’, she talks about her life and the new role. She will be next seen in Bratya Basu’s Dictionary.
Sharing her plans to The Times of India, Nusrat Jahan says that she has now decided to do two films in a year as there is much work to do as an MP too. The actress last release Asur with Jeet and Abir Chatterjee has received a mixed response at the box office.
Asur is a story of three friends played by Jeet, Abir, and Nusrat. But the film will show their later phase of their life when they are in their 30s. The film is a tribute to famous sculptor and painter Ramkinkar Baij. Jeet will be seen playing that role.
The movie's plot is set at the background of 2015 Durga Puja when a stampede-like situation occurred at the Deshapirya Park Puja when people had gathered around to see 88-feet Durga idol.
And now she will be again seen with Abir in ‘Dictionary’ based on Buddhadeb Guha’s two short stories.
